In the PET packaging, the best application field is CSD, like cock and sprite. Incomplete statistics of CSD bottles accounted for 1/3 of the total number of PET bottles. In 1998 alone, China accounted for 57.4% of PET bottles in CSD packaging. As early as in 1995, Japan's condiments are has more than 30000 tons, accounting for 13% of the total consumption of PET bottles. The data showed that Japan's in 2000 sales of PET bottles from 220 million to 250 million. In five years from 1995 to 2000, PET bottle rose from 15% to 36% in Germany, beverages, beer product is more widespread use of PET bottle blow molding technology, the single transient can be up to 1200 bottles/PET beer production mold.

PET bottle has not only superior performance, but also has excellent environmental protection energy saving characteristics. The energy consumption is only 41% to 64% of glass bottles. If recycled, the energy consumption can be reduced by about 50%. If the base of China's beer production more than 20 million tons in 2000, around 25 billion to 30 billion beer bottles only (including recycled), even partly replace, by 2005, demand of PET bottle in China will reach 600000 to 650000 tons.
